Dewey Roger Adkins

Dewey Roger Adkins 76 of New Straitsville passed away at his home on Tuesday February 8, 2022.

He was born May 19, 1945, in Logan, West Virginia a son of the late Dewey and Hazel Conway Adkins.

He was a U. S. Marine Corp Viet Nam Veteran; he was an over the road truck driver and a was a died hard Michigan Wolverine backer.

He is survived by his sons Roger (Tina) Adkins, Tony (Alexis) Adkins, and Neil (Mackenzie) Adkins and his daughter Angela (Glenn) Whaley; his sister Betty Adams; his grandchildren Roger, Dustin, Ginny, Anthony, Carter, Jax, Emma and Autumn; great grandchild Jaiden.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Calvin “Buddy” Adkins, and Rocky Adkins.

Friends may call from 12-3 pm on Friday February 11, 2022, with military services being conducted at 3 pm at the funeral home.
