David E. Williams 95 passed away Saturday August 31, 2024 at the Oaks at North Pointe, in Zanesville.
He was born December 7, 1928 in Shawnee, a son of the late Elias and Emma Snyder Williams.
He was a loving husband of 70 years and loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.
He was an avid golfer and past member of the Perry County Country Club.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie (Jerry) Hite; his son Ken (Debbie) Williams and son-in-law Roger Gill; grandchildren Heather (Allen) Frey, Haley (Brian) Cartwright, Jeremy (Amber) Williams, Kyle (Taylor) Hite, Alexis Hite, Ryan (Angela) Hite and Lori (Matt) Palmer; great-grandchildren Tanner, Brooke, Jordyn, Madison, McKinley, Aiden, Schaylee, Raelyn, Jayden, Alyssa and Presley; great-great grandchildren Kashton and Teegan; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Wallene Holcomb Williams; his daughter Kathy Gill and his brother Freeman Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday September 7, 2024, at the New Straitsville Methodist Church, with his great-nephew Aaron Quinn officiating.
Interment: New Staitsville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday at the church and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Straitsville Methodist Church.
