David Allan Rodgers

David Allan Rodgers 76 of Frankfort, formerly of Corning passed away Friday January 2, 2026 at the Valley View Nursing Home, Frankfort.

He was born February 1, 1949 in Athens the son of the late Maurice F. “Sonny” and Betty H. Jones Rodgers.

David was a former railroad worker; U.S. Air Force Viet-Nam Veteran; he enjoyed photography and was internationally known for his award-winning photographs; he liked to draw and was a devoted Christian.

He is survived by his children Dan (Heidi Alfman) Rodgers; Kristina (Dale Lee) Rodgers Carver and Beth (Jeffery) Rodgers Clagg; his sister Patsy Taylor; his grandchildren Danny Jr., Randy, Zoe, Cash, Zachery and Kamryn; the mother of his children Mary Kranyik Fisher.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Rodgers and his brother-in-law Jeffrey Taylor.

Friends may call from 2-8 pm on Wednesday January 7, 2026 at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street Shawnee.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday January 8, 2026 at the funeral home.

Interment: New Lexington Cemetery.
