Obituary
Daniel J. Wohrle, 88, of Shawnee passed away April 21, 2023, at Fairview Assisted Living in New Lexington, Ohio.
He was born May 27, 1934, in Junction City, Ohio to the late Daniel M. and Veronica (Gordon) Wohrle.
Danny was a very dedicated Catholic and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Corning, Ohio. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, inventor, and fixer who loved making Indian crafts and artwork.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Paul and Michael Wohrle, and his sister Veronica Wohrle.
Danny is survived by siblings Don (Marge) Wohrle, Pat (Sue) Wohrle, Mary Joanne (Richard) McKinney, Bill (Linda) Wohrle, Sherri (Bruce) Starner; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Danny and Annette Moulton.
The family greatly appreciates the wonderful care and love that the nurses and staff at Fairview Assisted Living gave to Danny.
Friends may call Wednesday, April 26 from 4:00-8:00 PM and Thursday, April 27 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Corning. A mass will follow Thursday’s calling at 12:00 PM.
Interment: Shawnee Cemetery.
Following interment, friends and family are invited to the St. Bernard social hall to share in food and fellowship.
