Daniel R. Summerfield

Daniel R Summerfield 52 of Nelsonville passed away on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at Riverside Medical Center Columbus Ohio.

He was born on September 27, 1972, in Nelsonville, a son of the late Kermit "Bud" and Willetta (Canter) Summerfield.

Dan was a jack of all trades, who enjoyed hunting deer, and hanging around deer camp. He rooted for the football Buckeyes, Nelsonville -York and Ohio State, also he was proud that Joe Burrow is from Athens County.

Survived by his children, Ethan Summerfield, Jassia (Chandler Dodson) Summerfield, Raeann Summerfield and Madison (Abby Perry) Summerfield. Brothers, Randy Summerfield and Robert Cinquepalmi Sr.: his sister, Janet (Dave) Lehman, grandson, Jameson Jones and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents Dan was preceded in death by his sisters, Mona Dearing and Donna Bush, brother Micheal Cinquepalmi Sr., and sister-in-law Gannett Cinquepalmi.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday March 29, 2025, at THE J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut St SHAWNEE Ohio 43782. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday March 30, 2025, at the funeral home, with Rev. Calvin Edgel officiating.

Dan's children will honor his wishes for cremation.
