Daniel E. "Dan" Martin

Daniel E.” Dan” Martin of New Straitsville, formerly of the Glouster area. passed away on Monday March 27, 2023, at his home. Dan was born on October 11, 1954 in Massillon, Ohio

    He was a son of the late James W. Martin Jr., who passed away as the result of an automobile accident when Dan was an infant, and Wanda (Rutter) and Melvin McKee.

     Dan was simple man with simple needs. He enjoyed a good fishing spot, a starry night, and a warm campfire.

 .  Dan is survived by his daughters, Heather (Marcus) Fuller, Misti Rosebrook, both of Fostoria Ohio, and Kristi Diaz of Burgoon, Ohio 13 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; his brother Melvin “Pete” McKee; his sisters, Rosemary Benhart and Sandra McKee; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Martin, Randy McKee and Steven McKee, and one grandchild.

Following Dan’s wishes cremation will take place and a   Celebration of Life will be held on April 8, 2023, from 5 until 7 P.M. at 18516 Laurel Run Rd Nelsonville, Oh 45764.
