Daniel Calvin Hook Sr.

Daniel Calvin Hook Sr., 61 of Hemlock passed away Friday April 28, 2023, at his home.

He was born June 6, 1961, in Nelsonville, a son of the late Alfred and Rema Miller Hook.

Danny was a self-employed auto mechanic, and he was all about cars, he enjoyed bass fishing, spending time at Burr Oak and camping every Summer.

He is survived by his children Jasmine R. (Carl) Johnson, Casandra Marie (Christopher Matheny) Hook Hoover, James “J. R.”(Sara) Hook, Daniel “DJ” Hook and Devin Adam Hook; the mother of his children Melody Wallace; his sisters Jane George, Jackie (Rick) Vernon and Janice Hook; his brothers Darrell Hook and Jason Hook; 10 grandchildren and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his nieces Amanda Jane George and Tabitha Winland, his nephews Shannon Hook and Shaun C. Hook, good friend Roger George and his special friend, his dog Buddy.

Danny’s wishes were for cremation, dates for the memorial services will be posted when determined.
