Cynthia L Nye

Cynthia L Nye, 73, of Kirtland, Ohio, formerly of New Straitsville, Logan, and Gahanna, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024. Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved parents Harry S and Carrie M, her brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward (Mary), Harry, Jack (Ann)and Larry.

She grew up in New Straitsville and graduated from Miller High School before moving to Logan and then to Gahanna. Her move to Northeast Ohio took her to Mentor, Eastlake, and finally Kirtland.  She worked for Smead Manufacturing, Delta Dental, and retired from Meister Media Worldwide several years ago. She enjoyed playing the organ, making homemade chocolate candies, and spending time with her many nieces and nephews and their families. A celebration of life will be scheduled for this spring. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home in Shawnee.
