Connie L Hoy

Connie L (Miller) Hoy 78, of New Straitsville passed away on Friday January 9, 2026 at her home surrounded by her Husband and family.

Connie was born on June 1, 1947, in Orrville, Falls Twp.  a daughter of the late Daniel W and Fern E (Self) Miller

Surviving is her husband of 61 years Barry L Hoy Sr, sisters Nancy Patterson, and Brenda Hamshire, brother Paul (Tammy) Miller, several nieces and nephews.

Connie was a long time member of the Shawnee Church of Christ, a former employee of the United State Postal Service, she loved to go camping, and enjoyed cooking, cleaning and sewing.

Besides her parents Connie was preceded by her son, Barry L Hoy Jr., Sisters, Rema (Miller) Hook, and Shirley (Miller) Tharp- Gibson, brother, Daniel M. Miller, and infant brother Charles Miller. Brother-in-laws Alfred Hook and Sam Patterson.

Funeral services will be held at 2p.m on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at THE J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut Shawnee Ohio 43782.   With David McCandlish officiating. Interment will Follow at The New Straitsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
