Christina "Tina" (Simpson) Emerine

In loving memory of Christina “Tina” (Simpson) Emerine, we are saddened to announce her passing on February 23, 2021. She is reunited with her late mother Ethel Simpson, brothers Bruce Simpson, Christopher Simpson and infant sister Stella Denise Simpson.

Tina was born on January 9, 1962. She lived each day without fear, even when faced with cancer. She was a free spirit, a caregiver by nature and profession, a true animal lover, and was never afraid to express herself. Her relentless vitality is what made her so special to those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her devoted husband Kevin Emerine and his daughter Julia Emerine, her father Perry W. Simpson, sisters Sabreia Foley, Patricia Bettinghaus, Sherry Ballinger and Shialia Rogers and brother David Simpson. A celebration of her life will be held a later date yet to be determined.

“When you die, that doesn’t mean you lost to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live and the manner in which you live” So, to honour Tina, sing loudly, laugh until it hurts, dance like no one is watching, love fiercely and choose to live each day without fear.
