Carolyn Sue (Matthews) Conn

Carolyn Sue Conn 81 of Nashport, formerly of New Straitsville passed away Sunday October 9, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Nashport.

She was born May 27, 1941, in New Straitsville a daughter of the late Floyd and Beulah Wade Matthews.

She retired from Hocking County Job and Family Services.

She is survived by her son Scott Conn; her daughters Sue Conn and Sally (Tim) Post; her brothers Thomas (Linda) Matthews, Robert (Vicki) Matthews and Dennis (Leslie) Matthews; her sister-in-law Betty Wade; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Conn; her daughter and son in law Sandy and Ray McManus and her brothers Richard “Lefty” Wade and Ronald Matthews and nephew Jaime Matthews

Friends may call from 11am-2pm on Wednesday October 12, 2022, at the J.E. Humphrey Funeral Home 118 W. Walnut Street, Shawnee, with funeral services being conducted at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev Mike Martin officiating.

Following services cremation will take place.
