Brian Jacob "Jake" Denny

Jake was born April 15, 1963, in Nelsonvile Ohio, a son of the late James N. and Flora Alice Brunton Denny.

Jake was a longtime equipment operator for several companies through the years, he was the founder of the Denny Bison Farm; he was someone that everyone could count on for help, Jake always found a way to squeeze 28 hours of work into a 24 hour day.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Nutter Denny; his son and daughter-in-law Jacob “Chop and Emily Denny; his granddaughter Abbi (Trace Wollenberg) Denny; brothers Rich (Nancy) Denny, Keith (Sandra) Denny and Newt (Amy) Denny; brother in laws Rod Nutter, and Tracy (Missy) Nutter, several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Allison Lynn Denny; his in laws Paul and Yvonne Nutter; brother in laws, Jeff Nutter; his nieces Sarah Denny and Infant Elizabeth Marie Denny

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday April 29, 2026, at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Old Town Road SE (County Road 38)
New Straitsville, Ohio 43766, with Father Don Maroon and Joe Maroon Officiating.

Following services, he will be laid rest next to his daughter Allison
