In the passing of Brandon "Jace" Payne on April 4, 2024, the world lost not just a bright young soul but also a true example of kindness and compassion. He was born on September 1, 1999, in Lancaster.

Jace also leaves behind special cousins Coty Phillips, Ryne Payne, Aubree & Eva Riley; best friend Dylan Cooley, Dylan’s boys whom he referred to as his “nephews” Orlando and Odin. Along with numerous Great Aunts & Uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Kirstin Y. Vollmer; his grandfather, Glenn W. Payne; and his great-grandparents, Gene, and Yvonne Brunton.
