Bonnie June Stallings

Bonnie June Stallings 76 of Corning passed away Monday November 11, 2019 at The Morrison House, Zanesville.

She was born May 23, 1943 in Moxahala a daughter of the late Carl Ezra and Nellie Haught Stallings.

Bonnie was a former employee of Wilson’s Greenhouse, Bryants and was a former Nuses Aide/Instructor at Good Samaritan Hospital, Zanesville; Bonnie was never married or had children of her own but she had a heart of Gold and was not only the best aunt to her four nieces and nephews but also became a “Mom” to a woman she once babysat and a grandmother to her children; she loved arts and crafts, including crochet and made throws for everyone; she collected key chains, rings and music boxes, but her favorite items were pictures of her loved ones. She was a cheerleader for those she cared about and was always proud and encouraging of them all.

She is survived by her brother Carl “Bud” Stallings of Coring, nieces Deborah (David) Turner of Corning and Mary (Shawn) Hamilton of Lowell; nephews John (Margie) Hashman of Coring and Troy (Angie) Hashman of Corning; special friends she considered a daughter and son in law Rene and Gary Willison; 4 grandchildren Lindsey Willison of Reynoldsburg, Gary (Ashley) Willison Jr. of Greshman, OR, Warren (Katrina) Willison of Walterburoand Robert (Emma) Willison of Savannah, GA.; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister and brother in law Connie and John A. “OJ” Hashman.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 on Sunday November 17, 2019 at the J.E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut Street, SHAWNEE with Rev Richard Fitch officiating.

Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Corning.
