Beatrice C (Cox) Toth

Beatrice C Toth 90 of SHAWNEE went to be with the LORD on October 16,2023 at FairHope Hospice of Lancaster, Ohio.

She was born on April 14, 1933, in SHAWNEE, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Glenna (O’Hare) Cox.

Beatrice graduated from SHAWNEE High School and was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Corning.

She was a homemaker and raised 5 children, she also worked in the evening as a custodian at Nicofibers in SHAWNEE for 25 years.

She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and they adored her.

She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, John Toth, her children, John Micheal (Tami) Toth, Terri (Dave) Sharp, Mary (Jim) Cook, Jay Toth and Jim (Amy) Toth; grandchildren, Jessica McCord, Jeremiah Toth, Kory Cook, Travis Cook, Lance Sharp, and Kaley Sinift, sisters Glenna “Moon” Tharp, Amelia “Peewee” Smith and Linda Roberts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joe Cox, and sister Betty Ann Mehler.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday October 20, 2023, at THE J, E. HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME 118 W. Walnut. St SHAWNEE Ohio, with Jeremiah Toth officiating, interment at SHAWNEE Cemetery

Friend may call on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
